Position Purpose

This position is responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of a comprehensive Residential Life and Dining Service program. The incumbent oversees the full scope of the program and ensures compliance with college policies. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a department culture and campus partnerships that promote belonging, community, civility, and social responsibility and fostering a vibrant campus climate that is inclusive, equitable, and affirms a diverse learning environment committed to equal opportunity and services for all students. Housing at Evergreen consists of traditional residence halls and apartments and consists of 10 permanent staff and 60 student employees and serves approximately 650 residents by providing on-campus residential living and learning community with dining services and programming.

This is a full-time, overtime exempt position in Residential and Dining Services on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.

Salary and Benefits: $7,832 – $8,706 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
