The Title IX Coordinator provides strategic leadership and oversight of the College’s Title IX program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Professional Development, this role is responsible for assessing compliance, revising and implementing policies, coordinating investigations, managing case resolution, and leading campus-wide education and training initiatives.
In addition to Title IX-related responsibilities, the Title IX Coordinator may also conduct non-Title IX personnel investigations as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources or Supervisor. Working closely with Human Resources colleagues and legal counsel, they will provide guidance on employment-related policies and regulatory requirements.
This position requires an exercise of strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues with professionalism and care. The Title IX Coordinator is a key resource for students, faculty, and staff, ensuring a fair, supportive, and compliant process while fostering a campus environment prioritizing respect, equity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Manages Title IX Concerns & Cases – Conducts intake, monitors cases for trends, and ensures a fair, prompt, and thorough investigation and hearing process.
Provides Support & Resources – Coordinates supportive measures, connects individuals to resources, and provides timely updates on case progress.
Coordinates Investigations – Oversees Title IX investigations and hearings; handles non-Title IX investigations (personal, bias, etc.) as assigned.
Develops Policies & Reports – Drafts policy revisions, prepares annual reports, and analyzes reporting and programming data.
Leads Prevention & Awareness Efforts – Manages Sexual Respect programming creates educational materials and engages the campus community in prevention initiatives.
Engages in Professional Development – Serves on committees, participates in regional/national organizations, and stays current on training requirements and best practices in the field.

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
Minimum of three years of Title IX experience for a P2 Career Level and a minimum of five years of Title IX experience for a P3 Career Level
